Do our perceptions comprise our reality?



Whatever you do, whatever actions you take, and whatever you say is because of what you believe in life. If you believe in the positive things, your life will be more reassuring and happier if your beliefs are mostly negative, then they are going to be pretty pessimistic. If you believe that you can do big things in life, then you will at least try to achieve them. But if you believe your life to be hopeless and filled with disappointments, then you won’t even try to change it.

If we always have high expectations of people, we are going to have disappointments. Everybody has come to live their own lives here and nobody is selfless at the end of the day. If we keep pondering on the things we deserve, we are going to lose our main focus. We should just keep doing our work or whatever it is we are doing, without the expectation of rewards.

Often things don’t happen the way we want them to. Luck or fate is obviously a factor, but that should not stop you from being happy. We do not need to be wealthy to be happy. Happiness is subjective and unless a person actually wants to be happy, nothing can make them so.

If you want to bring some changes in your life, then start working on those changes. Try to overcome your fears and take action nobody can fix our lives for us. Only we can do that and make an effort to try and stop complaining about things that you do not have in life.

If you hold no worth in your own eyes, then how do you expect others to, self pity is the worst kind of punishment to inflict on yourself. However sad you maybe, try not to blame yourself and your circumstances too much. Change your attitude towards life. Other changes will follow in their own time.

Learn to live in the present and avoid dwelling on the past. Try not being miserable by thinking about what has happened in the past. This is the moment that counts. If you want to change your life, then act now.

If you can make some positive changes you are going to suffer less and be happier, remember that even small changes can make you feel more positive.
